Self-host or let us run it? How to choose

Both keep your data yours. Here's the trade-off in plain terms.

Managed hosting means we run, back up and update everything — you just log in. Self-hosting puts the software on your own server for full control. Either way you own your data and can export it anytime.

A simple rule

If you don't have IT on staff, go managed. If data must stay on-premise for policy reasons, self-host. You can switch later.
