Colour matching, answered

Which spectrophotometers does it work with?
You can enter L*a*b* readings from any spectrophotometer, or start from a swatch photo. There is no proprietary hardware lock-in.
What is ΔE and which formula do you use?
ΔE is a single number for how far a batch is from the target colour. We use CIEDE2000 (ΔE00), the modern industry standard, and let you set a pass/fail tolerance per quality.
Does it replace a physical lab dip?
No — it speeds shade development by predicting a strong starting recipe and scoring matches, but you should always confirm with a physical dip before bulk. It is a lab aid, not a guarantee.
Can it predict recipes against my own dyes?
Yes. Recipes are predicted against your dye library and checked against current stock, so you get dosing you can actually run.
