This policy explains what data DyeHouse Cloud ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and software, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name, work email, company, phone and the plan you choose.
• Business data you enter — customers, orders, recipes, batches, QC results, invoices and accounting records. This is your data; we process it only to run the service for you.
• Usage & technical data — sign-in times, IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the service reliable.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor. We never store full card details on our servers.

2. How we use it

• To provide and operate the software and your account.
• To send service messages — for example, trial reminders, invoices and important notices.
• To secure accounts, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems.
• To improve the product. We do not sell your data or your business data to anyone.

3. How we protect it

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, sessions use hardened cookies, and stored secrets (such as payment keys) are encrypted at rest. Sign-in supports fingerprint and pattern in addition to passwords, and repeated failed logins are rate-limited. Where you choose self-hosting, your business data stays on your own server.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation, your data remains available for export for a grace period, after which it can be deleted. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

6. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the product (for example, payment processing and email delivery), and only to the extent needed. We may disclose information if required by law.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. To exercise any of these, contact us and we'll help.
